NY Post's PageSix.com always seems to be a day late and a dollar short with their Artie Lange related stories. Artie mentioned on the air the other day that he was approved to go overseas to entertain the troops. Steve Langford and the Howard 100 News have also covered this story. So why does pagesix.com feel the need to run this story a week late?

Probably so they can put this great picture of Artie next to the article.

Randi Wright in studio

Pornstar Randi Wright is in the studio today talking about her screwed up childhood, being an alcoholic, her career in porn and guys who have paid her for sex.
Randi got on the tickle chair and was tickled by Artie and Gary. Randi turned on Artie so much that he offered her 15 grand to fuck him, which she accepted. We'll see if she goes through with it.

Artie Lange's Last Hoorah

Artie is back today and he was telling Howard about Grandma Caprio's funeral. Artie told Howard that Dana was at the funeral and there is something still between them. In typical Artie fashion, he said that he's done and wouldn't explain what he meant. He also said that after he goes to Irag, he's done. Entertaining the troops will be his last hoorah.
Howard really annoyed me this morning because instead of asking Artie what he meant by these comments, he asked stupid questions about Dana and what she was wearing.
What does Artie mean when he says he's done?
Is he done with the show, is he done with Dana, is he done with stand-up, is he done with life?
Howard is supposed to be the best interviewer of all time, but he really dropped the ball when it came to asking Artie these important questions.

Artie to entertain the troops

Steve Langford just told us in a Howard 100 News Brief that Artie Lange will be heading to the Middle East this summer to entertain our troops.
Steve also said that he is eager to join Artie in Irag to report on his appearance.
I will provide an update when I have more information regarding definite dates and location.

Grandma Caprio has passed

I missed the beginning of today's show but I just heard Jeff the Drunk call in to send Artie his condolences on the passing of Grandma Caprio.

Jeff then went into some ramble about being banned from the Bubba the Love Sponge show and also about being paid his $200.

Artie is back

Artie is back today although he claims to still be sick. He told Howard that he has a chest cold and it feels like Captain Lou Albano is sitting on his chest.
Howard wanted Artie to admit on the air that he was canceling the Borgata this weekend, but Artie said that he has a few more days to recover and that he should be fine by then.
Artie's illness even made the home page of Sirius' website.

Miss Howard TV March - Brenda Lynn

Check out Brenda Lynn, who is Miss Howard TV for March 2008.
Brenda told Howard that she wanted to have her boobs reduced because she feels they're too big but Howard told her not to do it because her big boobs were nice. She also told Howard that she was a model and was also featured in music video's with Jay-Z and Pharrell.
Brenda was also upset that Artie wasn't in today because she was a big fan of his, although when asked his last name, she said "I don't know, Lange?"

It's official, Artie Lange called in sick for the first time in 2008 today. We're only 43 days into the year and the big man is out sick already.
This morning's excuse was priceless.
Artie said that he was out drinking last night with one of his "jerkoff" friends.

Artie, do you take any responsibility for your actions?
You were the one who decided to stay out drinking all night knowing that you have work today and you're friend is the jerkoff because he made you stay out all night?

Who is Barack Obama?

I knew I was going to get shit from some of my readers for writing about Barack Obama. However, this is my media outlet and I will say what I want about whatever I want. I was going to ignore the comments that I received regarding Barack because I didn't want to turn this topic into a political rant but I feel so strongly about this that I can't ignore it. I know that Artie Lange has a lot of influence on people and hearing that he supports Barack Obama will most likely get some of his fans to vote for him. Well, a lot of Artie's fans also read this website and I feel that if I can deter even one person from voting for Barack, than I have done my part.
After I wrote yesterday's post titled Artie supports possible terrorist, I received an e-mail which further validates my opinion. Here's what the e-mail said:

Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background. ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.

The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the President of the United States, one of their own!!!!

And if this isn't enough to turn you off, Obama wrote in his 1995 book "Dreams of My Father" that he was once headed in the direction of a "junkie" and a "pothead."
Referring to his emotional struggles as a young man, Obama wrote, "Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it. Not smack, though."

We might as well vote for Artie Lange for President!

Artie supports possible terrorist

I may be the biggest Artie Lange fan there is and I support everything he does and says but there is one thing Artie is doing that I am completely against. Over the past few days, Artie has said that he supports Barack Obama and even voted for him on Super Tuesday. I can not and do not agree with Artie this time. I think Barack Obama is the worst possible candidate for President this country has ever seen. Not because he's black and not because he's a democrat but because he is a Muslim. I am a young white male who is Italian and raised Catholic, just like Artie, and I feel that this country should not be put in the hands of a Muslim. I think that Artie may have forgotten about 9-11. These crazy Muslim terrorist assholes killed thousands of innocent Americans and a family member of mine.
I'm normally not political and I only write about Artie when he's funny, but if I could deter some of my readers and fellow Artie fans from voting for Barack, than I'm doing my part in protecting this country.

Artie has dinner with the Munson family

As I wrote back in December, Artie got an amazing Secret Santa gift from Richie Wilson from the tapes crew. Rich was able to get Artie 2 tickets to the Thurman Munson charity dinner. Last night's dinner honored NY Yankees Alex Rodriguez and Melky Cabrera as well as NY Mets David Wright, Houston Astros Craig Biggio, NY Knicks Jamal Crawford, NY Giants Justin Tuck and Olympic Gold Medalist Kristi Yamaguchi.

Thurman Munson's wife gave Artie an emotional gift that was Thurman's lucky charm. It was a Yoo-Hoo shirt that Thurman wore under his uniform everyday for good luck. Artie was very grateful for that gift because he is a huge Munson fan.

The event was a black-tie affair and Artie showed up in a collared shirt that didn't fit him. A fan e-mailed Howard a picture from the dinner and Howard said that Artie looked like a mess.

Artie the Terrible

Howard got a call from Jeff the Drunk this morning and Jeff immediately asked Artie if he could get him a room at the Borgata for Artie's performance on February 16th. Artie made a deal with Jeff that he would pay him $200 to come up on stage and show his ass. In typical Jeff fashion, that wasn't enough for him. He asked Artie if he could get him a room because he and his manager will be drunk and won't be able to drive home after the gig. Howard acted as Artie's agent and told Jeff that Artie will pay him the $200 just to stay home. This insulted Jeff and he hung up. Jeff called back two more times and eventually said forget it because his manager felt insulted.

In the meantime, Artie mentioned that he wanted to get Teddy a uniform. He said that Teddy always looks like a mess and it would be better for Artie's appearance if his assistant was well-dressed, perhaps in a suede suit. Teddy came into the studio and said the only way that he would wear a uniform is if Artie paid him more. This lead Artie to get annoyed because Teddy is the highest paid part-time assistant ever. JD than came in and told Howard that he always has to talk Teddy off of the ledge because he always feels insulted by Artie.

I have a bit of advice for you Artie... don't get involved with Jeff the Drunk anymore and get a real assistant!

Artie Lange f*cked Jake Gyllenhaal's face

In a video clip of Artie Lange taken at Jet Nightclub in Las Vegas, Artie tells the TMZ.com cameraman that he fucked Jake Gyllenhaal's face and ass but lost the role in Brokeback Mountain to Heath Ledger because Heath is skinnier. Now that Heath is dead, Artie will be getting a lot more movie roles. Click here to see the full clip.

Artie wears the same clothes as usual and even tells the same jokes that he used on Kimmel's show a few months ago.

Artie's intention was to plug his show at the Borgata but Dave cut him off at the end of the segment, allowing Artie to barely mention his gig.
It's a good thing Artie spent so much time telling the same old gambling stories. I finally learned something new about the guy.

One last comment, Artie......... please go on a diet! You are huge!!
