Howard heard that Artie and Teddy were arguing in the halls about money so Howard brought it into the studio to try to get to the root of the problem. Well, things eventually went from bad to worse and Artie wound up attacking Teddy and trying to kill him. This lead Howard telling Artie that he wanted him to leave if he can't control his temper. Artie responded by saying that he can't be trusted, he's out of control and he wants to resign from the show. Artie than left and it became a big discussion in the studio. Howard, Robin and Fred were all bummed out about what happened and everyone agreed with Ralph that Artie shouldn't have left. This lead Benji to go out and look for Artie. Teddy came back in to say that he was bummed and wished that he never came in. He also said that he was still looking forward to going to Amsterdam and hoped that Artie would still go with them. Teddy feels bad for Artie and doesn't want to be the reason that Artie doesn't go to Amsterdam. Howard thinks that it might be better if Artie doesn't go to Amsterdam and best if he and Teddy part ways. The discussion of AJ's incident came up but Teddy stood up for Artie and said that Artie didn't hit him and only threw a cup of water at him. Howard was at a loss for words and didn't know how to resolve this problem and feels that it should be left in upper managements hands. The next topic was that someone should be with Artie right now because everyone is afraid of what Artie might do to himself. After a lengthy discussion, Howard decided to switch topics and go right into interviewing Jason Reitman. Although Howard tried to focus on Jason, the discussion remained about Artie including taking calls from listeners who all had very different opinions.
Poor Artie man. I really feel bad for the guy. He is spiraling out of control. Although I don't want Artie to leave the show, I think this might be the best thing for him right now. Artie needs to focus on himself for a while and get his head right.

Artie misses big premiere
Steve Langford announced during a Howard 100 News Brief that Artie missed the premiere of Howard Stern's Private Parts movie back in March of 1997 because he was in rehab. Artie admitted to Steve that his mother called him while at the Honesty House rehab crying that her son couldn't attend his idol's big movie premiere. Steve also gave himself a little plug by telling Howard that he wrote Pat Coopers monologue for his red carpet appearance.
11 years later, Artie is still battling addiction.
"Artie Lange should go to rehab, he says No No No!"

Friendly wagers
After a caller won $500 playing the Bigfoot game, Howard bet Artie $50 that Bigfoot didn't know the first letter of a word. Artie lost and had to pay Howard the $50. Artie than said he had the fever and wanted to bet Howard $1000 as well as get some blow. Howard agreed that he would bet another $50 and this time Howard was wrong and had to give Artie back his $50. Howard went on to say that he felt bad that he took Artie's money and was glad that he gave back the money.

I'm f*cking Matt Damon
This has nothing to do with Artie Lange, but since Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel are friends of Howard Stern and the show, I decided to post this video that Sarah made for Jimmy. I think it's pretty funny and I'm sure you will too.

Artie is a true gentleman
At the end of today's show, Howard asked Artie if he had any plugs; and instead if plugging his show at Tutta Pasta tonight, Artie instead told Howard to kick some ass on tonights Letterman appearance.
In other Letterman news; Steve Langford, who followed Howard to his appearance, reported that Howard brought up the shows new sponsor NODORO and even had a box of Nodoro with him.
Steve ended his news segment by asking if this bit will actually make it to the air.
I guess we'll just have to watch and see tonight.

Howard hits the button
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm pissed off about this!
During the interview with Earthquake, Artie and Earthquake were talking about something and Howard hit the dump button. My question is WHY? You're on restriction-free satellite radio.
What was so bad about whatever was said?
You might as well be back on K-Rock fucker!!

Stay on vacation Howard
That is the title of an article that briefly mentions Artie Lange.
In this article from phillyburbs.com, Howard Stern and the Howard Stern Show are bashed by blogger Eric Gargiulo. I would normally say that this guy is an asshole, but being a fellow blogger, I'm going to bite my tongue.
Eric G, who is the host of an AM Radio Show about Pro Wrestling, states that Howard Stern should do us all a favor and stay on vacation because the show is a snooze-fest lately. He also states that the show features a list of D-list celebrities, uninteresting discussions about the merger, whining rich hosts and a co-host that falls asleep due to boredom.
I agree with the guy in some area's and disagree with others. The show has changed! But I think it has changed for the better. Sure, Howard still plays the cheap Jew role, Robin is still a cackling, interrupting pain in the ass, and Artie is spiraling out of control, but that is what draws people to the show. The fact that we get to hear about these peoples lives everyday makes us feel like we are personal friends of the show members. They've become a part of our lives. We tune in everyday to hear about their lives just like we talk to our spouses, significant others, friends or co-workers everyday.
So yes, Howard has changed. He has 500 million reasons for the change. But change for the worse? No.
I dread the day when the show is no longer on the air. I've been listening religiously for years.
There will be millions of people all over the world that will feel an empty void without the Howard Stern Show.
Remember the Soprano's? I still get bummed out that Tony is no longer a part of my life.
I personally will be one of the people that will miss the show. And I believe Eric G. will feel the same way.
Whether you like the show or not, you always tune in and listen. It gives people like Eric and myself something to talk about (and blog about).

Howard get's hit with shit shrapnel
In an article in the NY Post, Howard was mentioned in an article relating to Ronnie "the Limo Driver" Mund's birthday bash at Headquarters Gentlemens Club in NYC. The article states that Howard Stern's staff members turned the club into "Animal House" by throwing cake at each other and soaking everyone with a fire extinguisher. The article also mentions Stern's portly sidekick (LOL) Artie Lange was oblivious to what was going on because he was cavorting with a Brazilian beauty.
Artie feels that the dancer owes him a blowey because of the mention of her in the article.
